Understand the ward round
Log daily updates and get plain-language explanations of NICU terms, procedures and diagnoses, so parents can follow what is happening and ask better questions.
Science you can hold in your hands
Lyph Lab is an Isle of Man health company founded by a microbiologist and a digital product leader. We build tools people use in their own lives: Swaddled, a digital companion for NICU families, and lab-grade blood testing you do at home.

Digital Isle of Man Innovation Challenge 2026 finalist
Neonatal intensive care arrives without warning and without a manual. Swaddled turns the jargon, fear and isolation of the NICU into clarity, connection and calm. It was built by two parents of premature babies: one a microbiologist, one a software product leader.
Understand the ward round
Log daily updates and get plain-language explanations of NICU terms, procedures and diagnoses, so parents can follow what is happening and ask better questions.
One private record
Track clinical progress like weight and feeding alongside the moments that matter, with a secure journal for thoughts, questions for the care team and schedules.
Two minutes at a time
Guided breathing, short grounding exercises and NICU-specific education, designed for the space between ward rounds rather than an hour you do not have.
People who have been there
Connection with other parents at a similar stage of the journey, because family and friends rarely speak the NICU’s language.

No clinic queue and no appointment. We send a kit to your door, you take the sample at home in a few minutes, and your results come back analysed and explained in plain language by a scientist, not buried in reference ranges you are left to decode alone.
Choose your test and we post the kit to you with clear, step-by-step instructions.
Take the sample yourself at a time that suits you, then return it in the prepaid packaging.
Your sample is analysed by an accredited laboratory.
You receive your results with a plain-language explanation of what they mean and what to consider next.
Interested in testing for your team or organisation? Get in touch and we will talk it through.
